Toyota, with its awesome community outreach programs, has chosen to renew its partnership with the lifeguards of San Diego. Looks like even the big car makers have at least once watched “Baywatch” and want their cars to be rolling adds when the lifeguards patrol to ensure public safety under the scorching sun. But the latest of the bunch is Toyota, which has announced it’s extending the partnership with San Diego’s city lifeguards, which was started back in 2011, moving to further donate 34 new trucks and SUVs this year.
Here’s some BIG news for Toyota: they’re moving their headquarters! Yes, Toyota is moving their operation from California to the great state of Texas. “As we visited those four primary locations, it became quite clear that the Dallas metro area was far and above the best choice,” said Jim Lentz, Toyota’s CEO for North America. The major of the move should take place during 2016 and we here at Universal Toyota could not be anymore excited!
