Toyota rolling out San Antonio-made Tundra Bass Pro Shops trucks

A special Tundra is coming to Texas in 2015! Toyota is teaming with Bass Pro Shops to create the Bass Pro Shops Off-Road Edition. Be on the look out for it!

Toyota, which hopes to capture a larger slice of the pickup truck market, is hitching its Tundra to the Bass Pro Shops brand. The automaker has unveiled a new 2015 Toyota Tundra Bass Pro Shops Off-Road Edition truck that is manufactured on San Antonio’s South Side and will be available in several U.S.

Rosa Santana certainly has some business smarts! She worked diligently over eight years to become a supplier for Toyota and starting in January, her company will be assembling Tacoma truck beds in El Paso. Great job Rosa!

When Toyota opened a truck assembly plant in San Antonio almost eight years ago, El Paso business owner Rosa Santana knew it would be a good idea to get her foot in the door there. She opened a branch of Integrated Human Capital, her 12-year-old El Paso staffing agency, in an office park across the street from the plant and began supplying labor to some of Toyota’s suppliers.
